The Requirement
Rai Way, a leader in network and transmission infrastructure, needed to guarantee operational continuity, advanced protection and proactive management for its five data centres located in Turin, Genoa, Florence, Milan and Venice.
The project is situated in a mission-critical context, where even the slightest disruption can compromise operations and strategic communications.
The main challenge was to ensure constant monitoring, capable of responding quickly and precisely to any critical issue, while maintaining high standards of safety and traceability.
The Solution
We designed and implemented a scalable and flexible operating model, integrating advanced technologies and optimised processes for end-to-end data centre management:
- 24-hour protection and continuous monitoring of all critical systems, via a dedicated Control Room.
- Customised Service Desk with trouble ticketing platform for real-time management and tracking of more than 1,000 tickets per month.
- Integration of security and automation systems, to ensure rapid intervention and priority management.
- Specialised team with vertical expertise on mission-critical ICT infrastructures.
Through consolidated processes and an advanced technological infrastructure, DX has ensured a level of service that is aligned at all times with Rai Way’s strategic objectives.
