The Requirement
A large company in the automotive sector entrusted N&C with the continuous management of its network infrastructure, with the aim of ensuring the full operation of its production facilities and globally distributed headquarters.
The context required constant monitoring and proactive management to prevent disruptions and quickly resolve any critical issues.
The complexity of the IT environment, the size of the project perimeter, and the presence of multivendor devices represented a significant challenge to continuity of service.
The Solution
N&C’s Network Operations Centre (NOC) took over the complete supervision of the company’s network, ensuring a 24/7 service with specialised personnel and defined service levels (SLAs) for critical activities.
Main activities:
- 24-hour management and monitoring of over 20,000 network devices, including: firewalls, switches, wireless controllers (WLC), access points, IP telephones.
- Multivendor support on Cisco, Fortinet and Siemens/Unify technologies.
- Dedicated NOC team for business-critical SLAs, with rapid intervention and full traceability of operations.
- Operational management of more than 1,000 tickets/month, including: troubleshooting and diagnosis, escalation and priority management, and network performance optimisation.

Through the continuous monitoring and rapid intervention capability, the company was able to count on a reliable, high-performance network, capable of supporting production processes without interruption.
