Home presence detection through WiFi, without cameras and in full compliance with privacy regulations
Vionyx is a plug & play device for presence detection in home environments, based on passive analysis of WiFi (Channel State Information (CSI)) signals.
It utilises the WiFi already present in the home, without cameras, microphones or invasive sensors, offering a privacy-first approach and easy management via apps as a modern alternative to traditional security systems.

Vionyx exclusively handles technical data, using advanced authentication (JWT for apps, mTLS for IoT devices) and encrypted communications.

Research and operating principle
The project stems from advanced research activities on the analysis of WiFi signals..
Vionyx exclusively analyses the beacon packets of access points and standard and public packets to detect signal variations related to human presence.
No network traffic is analysed, no personal data collected, and no images or audio generated.
