The Requirement
The objective of the Youth Policy Department was to make the Giovani2030 (Youth2030) portal more modern, accessible and functional, to meet the needs of a young, digital-first target group.
The project falls under the Framework Agreement put in place by Consip (the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance’s procurement entity) for CAS (Cloud Application Services), with a focus on the digital transformation of public services and the adoption of cloud and AI technologies.
One of the main challenges was to ensure compliance with Agency for Digital Italy (AGID) standards and security requirements, while ensuring continuity of service during the migration and upgrade phases.
The Solution
N&C took over the comprehensive management of the Giovani2030portal, implementing a series of actions that combined design, technology and innovation.
The activities carried out included:
Graphic and functional redesign of the portal, to improve usability, navigation and utilisation of content from mobiles and desktops.
Implementation of a virtual assistant based on generative AI, capable of guiding the user in the discovery of opportunities, offers and tools, through a simple, personalised interaction.
Corrective and evolutionary maintenance, in line with AGID standards, accessibility criteria and cybersecurity legislation for the public sector.
Cloud infrastructure management, including migration to the National Strategic Hub (PSN) for greater resilience, reliability and data sovereignty.
Administration and content updating, in cooperation with the Department, to ensure the quality and timeliness of published information.

The Result
The Giovani2030 Portal is now a more accessible, intuitive and dynamic platform, designed to dialogue directly with young people and facilitate access to services.
