The Requirement
In an increasingly hybrid working environment, there is a growing need for versatile and technologically advanced spaces for video communication, event management and shared working, both in person and remotely.
Customers – public bodies, private companies, universities and judicial institutions – have requested tailor-made, flexible and easy-to-manage systems, capable of integrating with popular platforms (such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom) and guaranteeing a high-quality user experience.
The Solution
N&C has designed and implemented a range of advanced multimedia environments, suitable for different types of rooms and uses. All projects were designed to ensure maximum usability, BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) integration, automation and audio-video quality.
Types of rooms created:
- Small / medium room: videoconferencing system with dual monitors, microphone, touch panel, HDMI cable for sharing and USB port for BYOD devices. Flexibility without platform constraints.
- Large room: solution with single monitor, ceiling microphones, touch panel and wireless sharing via WiFi dongle for unrestricted, cable-free sharing.
- Board room: integrated system with dual monitors, comfort monitor, conference system and full home automation for lighting, temperature, audio, camera and touch panel control.
Auditorium: event space with LED wall and hybrid videoconferencing system. Home automation for environmental and video management, with centralised control of all functions. - Conference space: solution with microphones, motorised monitors, PC workstations for speakers, uniform sound diffusion and director’s video. Everything is managed through home automation and multimedia racks.
- Public Sector room: highly complex environments with dozens of monitors (up to 40), over 450 microphones, video systems with 5-7 cameras and home automation systems. Full integration with web conference and touch panel control for technical staff.
All installed devices are managed by centralised racks, with encoders, decoders, DSPs, AV matrices, conference systems and home automation control, to deliver total, simplified management of the environment.
